Tampa Bay area restaurants open on Christmas

Bookmark this list for when you don’t feel like cheffing it up for the holidays.

A steak with garnish and a charred lemon sits atop a black plate on a wood table, with multiple cocktail glasses.

Cheers to a wonderful year with a cocktail at Timpano.

We adore the holidays here in TBAY. The sparkling lights lighting up Hyde Park’s tree canopy, illuminated holiday scenes along Beach Drive, festive markets in the heart of Tampa, and of course, the food.

But it’s even better when you don’t have to toil in the kitchen yourself. We rounded up local gems open for Christmas dinner:

Editor’s note: Reservations will likely book up quickly, so we recommend booking now.

Dine in on Christmas

Timpano Hyde Park | Now you finally have an excuse to try the Parm to Table experience — bucatini al pesto prepared in a parmesan wheel. Plus, you can take in the magical Hyde Park Village decorations after your meal.

Élevage SoHo Kitchen & Bar | The Epicurean’s siganture resturant is serving a Christmas three-course with luxe options like lobster bisque, Wagyu tartare, truffled cavatelli, short rib, pan-seared halibut, and a Dutch apple crostata.

Beau & Mo’s Chicago Style Chophouse | There’s no local eatery quite as Christmasy as the Windy City-inspired steakhouse. Dine on ribeyes and carbonara surrounded by cozy decorations like a leg lamp (like the one from “A Christmas Story”).

SiX | Or book a table at the Marriott’s other fabulous eatery to feast on filet medallions, biscoff tirmasu, and sip on Bourbon & Berry cocktails from the curated holiday menu.

HEW Parlor & Chophouse | Make it a Christmas straight out of a Hallmark movie with a meal at the Fenway Hotel’s dreamy eatery. The family-style Christmas feast includes standouts like an acorn squash saltimbocca, fennel and endive salad, Beef Wellington, golden-whipped Yukon potatoes, and a gingerbread and white chocolate mousse trifle.

Amp up your Christmas Eve

Driftlight Steakhouse | Head to the upscale eatery on the ground floor of the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street for a little seafood or steak action as a Christmas treat.
