Cookouts, apothecaries, and poké: Meet Tampa Bay’s newest bars and eateries

The Tampa Bay area recently welcomed Glamper, Lara Tampa, and Island Fin Poké Co. to the menu.

People sit inside a restaurant at white tables with green chairs in a dark room.

We’re picturing post-work drinks at LARA.

We might be known for our sports and sandy white beaches, but Tampa Bay should be known for its array of incredible cuisine.

Now, let’s dive into some of the latest offerings:

LARA Apothecary & Bazaar

Meet us at the apothecary bar. Ybor’s newest bar, eatery, and bazaar recently opened in the former Stone Soup Company location. Expect a bar packed with tons of bottles, comfort food with Tampa flair, and (in the near future) an array of shoppable goods.

Island Fin Poké Co.

South Tampa just welcomed another seafood spot, offering a “boat to bowl” experience. The Kennedy location serves bowls packed with ahi tuna, octopus, shrimp, Spam, rice, and veggies — dressed with marinades.

Best of all, stop by every day from 3-6 p.m. for Dole Soft Serve Happy Hour. Oh we will.

Glamper St. Pete

Let’s keep the summertime vibes flowing even in the depths of August. The new backyard cookout-inspired joint opens next month, boasting a menu ripe with cocktails and beers, burgers, hot dogs, and other master barbecuer-approved eats.
