Water Street Tampa’s new Mediterranean eatery Predalina boasts a menu to beat.

At least, that’s what we’re calling TBAY now, thanks to our award-winning food scene.

Yelp just named Water Street Tampa’s Mediterranean powerhouse Predalina to its Best New Restaurants in the South list. The buzzy eatery came in at No. 16, with one Yelp Elite member saying, “Predalina is hands-down my absolute favorite restaurant in Tampa... I highly recommend getting a group of foodie friends together and sharing.”

In honor of the accolade, we’re sharing what we would order at the Water Street delight:

  • Appetizers are a must for this outing. We’ll be sampling the blistered cauliflower and the grilled octopus. Note: We are not factoring in a budget.
  • Next up, we’re ordering the salt crust branzino (yum) and Australian wagyu — a little DIY surf ‘n’ turf action if you will.
  • We’ll top off the night with a shared dessert. We’re eyeing the phyllo crunch, made with hazelnut, honey, caramel, and pine nut.
