Introducing Tampa’s newest tower: AER Tampa

The 31-story skyscraper looks out at all of downtown Tampa, but you might not want to leave.

A balcony looks out on the hillsborough river as towers and green parks line the water. The sky is light blue and dotted with clouds.

We’ll drink in these views any day.

The first of downtown Tampa’s slate of incoming skyscrapers just opened its doors. AER Tampa — a nod to its home in the Arts & Entertainment District — sits smack dab next to the Straz. Literally, some of the units look right out at the performing arts center.

Beyond the primo Tampa Riverwalk access, and truly incredible bird’s eye view of the skyline, the 31-story apartment tower boasts a slew of amenities like:

  • A huge resort-style pool with cabanas, cushy pool chairs, and framed by palm trees
  • A rooftop lounge + patio with views stretching from the Riverwalk to St. Pete
  • A gym with massive windows looking out over Tampa’s skyline
  • A chef’s kitchen for events and resident use
  • An infrared sauna, and cold plunges
  • A content creator studio + podcasting room (equipped with microphones)
  • Individual offices and coworking spaces

We got a behind-the-scenes peek at AER, but of course we brought you with us.
