It’s hard to keep track of all of the recent Tampa Bay restaurant openings. Lucky us.

We’re walking you through a few buzzy spots, so you can feel like a TBAY foodie influencer for the day.

  • ro is finally open in Hyde Park Village. The modern Asian eatery is helmed by multi-Michelin starred chef, Chef Kiichi, and serves omakase, signature dishes (like the smoked peking duck or uni pasta), and sushi.
  • Beacon, Tampa’s latest rooftop bar, also opened Friday on the 27th floor of the JW Marriott Tampa Water Street. The space’s design is inspired by Florida’s natural beauty + the menu features both whimsical cocktails and light bites.
  • Sorbo Coffee House recently opened in Wesley Chapel, That’s So Tampa first reported. The Asian-inspired coffeehouse dishes up Thai tea, cookies, and alcohol options.
  • Cru Cellars’ reimagined Westshore Marina District location, Vela, is now open. The Italian Mediterranean Tavern’s menu features salads, kabobs, pastas, and shareable plates.
